But if you read their Ts&Cs small-print, they often state that their answers should not be regarded as actual legal advice to be relied on. Direct Legal is way ahead of the rest of the pack. Our is actual advice and backed up by comprehensive insurance.

Absolutely. Unlike other providers, all our responding staff are trained and experienced legal experts with years of practical client experience.

No. All of our lawyers and admin staff are based in the UK operating from an established law firm with a real physical premises. We do not use any foreign call centres or workers.

No. Direct Legal is a complete service from beginning to end. You deal with the same legal expert at all times during your case issues.

We offer case evaluation, support and will assist drafting court claims or court documents for you. In certain circumstances we can represent you in court or Tribunal hearings as your representative.

We do not offer this funded work. Legal Aid is a specialised funding which the government has progressively clawed back on over the years. You can only obtain Legal Aid work from an appointed Legal Aid Franchise holder in your area. The Law Society can help you find a local Solicitor Franchise.

We do not deal with any immigration or asylum matters. Furthermore, it is a criminal offence for anyone to offer such advice or work, unless they are a practicing Solicitor or hold a certificate of registration from the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner.

We hold extensive professional indemnity insurance for ‘all legal services’ (except immigration advice and swearing of oaths). This means you can be confident that all advice and any legal work on your behalf is fully compliant, professional and backed with £2million per piece of case work.

Direct Legal is primarily aimed at putting the lawyer in your pocket, available 24/7 via any PC, laptop or mobile device. That’s how we can offer our fantastic low rates for the same work that you would pay more than £150+VAT an hour for to other law firms. We do have our own offices where we handle all of the administration and handling of your case. Unlike some others, we do not just maintain a mailbox rental presence.
